How would you describe your photography style?

Our work is rooted in fine art and inspired by the coast — honest, romantic, and full of natural light. We love documenting the real, in-between moments: the wind in your hair, the tear-filled smiles, the quiet magic between you two. We’ll capture how it felt. Documentary style but we’ll get those posed shots too.

Where are you based, and do you travel for weddings?

We’re based on Salt Spring Island, BC, but our passports (and hearts) are always ready. We regularly photograph weddings across Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and beyond.

How far in advance should we book?

We typically book 9–18 months in advance, especially for summer weekends. If your date is sooner, still reach out — you never know what might be open.

How many images do we receive and when should we expect our full gallery?

Every wedding is different, but you can expect around 400-600+ fully edited images for a full-day celebration. Each one is hand-edited to reflect the tones and feeling of your day. Your full gallery will be delivered within 8–10 weeks. You’ll also receive a handful of sneak peek images within the first week — perfect for sharing and reliving the magic when those post wedding blues start.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes! We love engagement sessions, we offer one as part of any wedding you book with us — they’re a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and capture you two in a more relaxed setting. Plus, it helps us get to know each other before the big day.

Can we print our photos?

Absolutely. All of our collections include high-resolution images with print rights. You’ll also have access to a beautiful online gallery where you can order fine-art prints and albums.

Second shooters?

We are a photography duo, for most full-day weddings we both attend to help capture both of your mornings, multiple angles during the ceremony, and every fleeting moment in between. We chat with you about if one or both of us will be there, no extra cost.

Do you photograph elopements or smaller celebrations?

Definitely. We adore intimate weddings and elopements — whether it’s just the two of you on a cliffside or a cozy backyard celebration with your closest people. See Investments page for details. Please reach out if you have questions.

What’s required to book?

A signed contract and a 30% retainer will secure your date. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding.

What happens if it rains?

We’re West Coasters — we embrace the weather! Rain can make for some of the most beautiful, moody images. We’ll always have a backup plan and help you make the most of it.

Do you help with timelines or planning?

Yes! We’re more than happy to help build a photography timeline that fits naturally with your day. We also share tips and preferred vendors if you’re planning from out of town.
